In un'area tra le più appartate della provincia di Viterbo, la Riserva Naturale Monte Casoli di Bomarzo si estende su 285 ettari di territorio nel Comune di Bomarzo. Fortemente influenzato dalle caratteristiche geologiche, il paesaggio presenta un'alternanza di boschi, forre tufacee, pianori un tempo tenuti a pascolo, coltivi. Numerose le testimonianze archeologiche, in particolare di epoca etrusca. Quanto a biodiversità, la Riserva può annoverare presenze di tutto rispetto quali numerose orchidee, il falco lanario e la quercia virgiliana, specie molto rara nel Lazio e la cui foglia fortemente lobata è rappresentata nel logo dell'Area Protetta assieme alla silhouette del borgo di Bomarzo.
