"Chi ricaricherà l'auto elettrica al Maxxi potrà entrare gratis e rifornirsi anche di energia creativa". Lo ha annunciato il presidente della Fondazione Maxxi Pio Baldi in occasione del convegno promosso dal Consorzio italiano recupero e riciclaggio elettrodomestici Ecodom e dal Senato della Repubblica, che ha visto tornare a Roma, per due settimane, l'opera di Michelangelo Pistoletto 'I Temp(l)i cambiano'.

Anche il Maxxi ha abbracciato la green economy. "Sul tetto - ha aggiunto Baldi - stiamo installando celle fotovoltaiche per dimostrare che anche nel centro storico si può progettare in maniera ecosostenibile e essere attenti all'estetica. Credo che ogni opera d'arte sia figlia del suo tempo. Quando un maestro dell'ingegneria come Morandi progettò l'autostrada del Sole dimostrò che per unire il Nord al Sud si doveva, con audacia e sbancamenti, vincere la natura ostile. Oggi - ha concluso il presidente della Fondazione Maxxi - la natura va assecondata".
